Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
The allergens, dietary notes and goals you give us: what we do with them, who sees them, and how to have them deleted.
Effective October 6, 2026 · Last updated October 6, 2026
This policy covers the consumer health data that Ability Culinary, LLC (“ABLTY,” “we”) collects through ablty.com, as Washington's My Health My Data Act defines it. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else we collect.
1. What we collect and why
- Shop orders. At checkout you can add three optional notes to your order: Dietary Notes (for example, vegetarian or no pork), Allergens (for example, peanuts or shellfish) and Goals (for example, muscle gain or a daily protein target). We use them to prepare, label and pack your order, to keep allergens out of it, and to answer your questions about it.
- The Training Table builder. When you build a box, you can mark the foods you don't eat: dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, sesame or coconut. We use your picks to build the box, and they travel with your order as part of its allergen notes. Our site analytics provider, PostHog, also records your taps on these choices, so we can see how people use the builder and improve it.
- Camp registrations. When you register a camper for a camp we feed, you can list the camper's allergies, dietary needs or special requests. We use them to plan and label the camper's meals and to keep allergens off their plate.
We do not infer health information from what you buy or browse, and we never use these notes for marketing, ad targeting or pricing.
2. Where it comes from
Only from you: the notes you type at checkout, the foods you mark in the Training Table builder, and the notes a parent or guardian types when registering a camper. We do not buy health data or collect it from anyone else.
3. Who receives it
We never sell consumer health data, we never share it with advertising platforms such as Meta or Google, and we never use it to target ads. Inside ABLTY, it is seen by the staff who prepare, pack and support your order or camp. Outside ABLTY, these companies handle it for us, and only to run our service:
- Supabase stores your order or registration, notes included, in our database.
- Vercel hosts our website and the servers that receive the notes when you submit them.
- Resend delivers the camp registration confirmation email, which repeats the camper's allergy notes back to you, and our staff's internal copy of it.
- Google Workspace hosts our company email, so our staff's copy of that camp email is stored there. This is our email account, not Google's advertising business.
- PostHog, our site analytics provider, records clicks on our website, which can include the foods you tap in the Training Table builder. It also records our staff's screens while they work in our internal order and camp tools, so we can find and fix problems in those tools, and those recordings can include these notes.
4. How long we keep it
The notes stay with the order or camp registration they came with, which we keep as part of our order history for accounting and operations. Other copies are kept:
- 30 days in Resend, for the camp emails it delivers.
- 30 days in PostHog, for the recordings of our staff's screens. PostHog keeps its click records with the rest of our site analytics.
- Until we delete it, for our staff's copy of the camp email in our support inbox.
- Until your cart is cleared, for the foods you mark in the Training Table builder, which stay in your browser with your cart.
Ask us and we will delete the notes sooner, from every place listed here.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm and show you whether we collect or share your consumer health data, with a copy of it, the list of companies we have shared it with, and how to contact each of them.
- Delete it. We delete it from our systems and tell every company listed above to delete it too. A copy held in a backup can take up to six months to clear.
- Withdraw your consent to our collecting and sharing it. We then stop using the notes and delete them. We can still fill an order without them, but we can no longer account for them in an order that has not shipped.
To make a request, email support@ablty.com from the address you used for the order or registration, or include the order number. You do not need an account. We may ask for details to confirm the request is yours. We answer within 45 days; if we need longer, we will tell you why within those 45 days and take no more than 45 more. Requests are free up to twice a year.
6. Appeals
If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, or by emailing support@ablty.com with “Appeal” in the subject line. We answer every appeal in writing within 45 days, with our reasons. If we deny your appeal, you can file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint (opens in a new tab).
7. Changes and contact
Before we collect, use or share consumer health data in a way this policy does not describe, we will tell you and ask for your consent first. When we change this policy, we post the new version here and update the date above.
